Please keep in mind that these are in no way ordered from best to worst or worst to best, but rather just a list of the top 10 Orlando Christmas events that you should definitely make time to do.

Ice! exhibit at Gaylord Palms.

Dates: November 10, 2012 - January 1, 2013.
Price: Adults from $22.99, Seniors from $20.99, and Childs from $13.99

ICE! is Florida's favorite frigid Christmas tradition, with over 20,000 square-feet of frosty 9-degree bliss played out in a winter wonderland of exciting hand-carved sculptures.

Last year (2011) we saw many beautiful sculptures based on the 'Shrek' series. This year they've created an awe inspiring tribute to the unforgettable DreamWorks' Animation TV classic Merry Madagascar.

Holidays Around the World at EPCOT sees World Showcase transformed into a winter delight. Experience the traditional holidays' of 11 (13 including Kwanzaa and Hanukkah in the American Adventure pavilion) very different cultures, and hear storytellers recite tales of a man with white hair who brings presents on Christmas eve to all the good children of the world. Learn about Papa Noel from French Canadian tradition, La Befana from Italian tradition, and my very own Father Christmas from my cultures tradition, in the United Kingdom pavilion.

Papa Noel at the Canada Pavilion:

The Orlando Vacation Tips Blog tip: If you want to see all of the storytellers, make sure you plan according to their showtimes. Check your show times guide for more details.

Macy's Holiday Parade at Universal Studios.

Dates: Nightly from December 1, 2012 - January 1, 2013.
Price: Included in your Universal Studios park admission ticket.

The streets of Universal Studios Florida come alive with balloons and floats beyond your imagination, marching bands - even Santa! The event promises plenty of delicious treats to eat and drink and festive music everyone in your family will enjoy! Many of the actual balloons and props used in the New York Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade are shipped down to Universal Orlando for this special holiday event.

The Orlando Vacation Tips Blog tip: For the best viewing spot look for the Macy's building to the right of the 'Revenge of the Mummy' attraction. You will get to see the parade twice, and Santa will stop by for a special lighting ceremony.

The Polar Express Experience at SeaWorld.

Dates: November 12, 2012 - January 4, 2013.
Price: Included in your SeaWorld Orlando park admission ticket.

Now boarding! Hop on this wondrous journey to the North Pole aboard The Polar Express. The beloved holiday classic comes to life as you and your family are immersed in the heart-warming story of a young boy's thrilling ride into an enchanted land! Once you've arrived at the North Pole (with very realistic sights, sounds, scents, and temperatures) you'll get chance to meet Santa Claus himself. SeaWorld promises that The Polar Express Experience will create an unforgettable holiday memory, and I agree!

The Orlando Vacation Tips Blog tip: Remember to bring warm clothes, it's pretty cold at the North Pole you know?

The Osborne Family Spectacle of Dancing Lights at Disney's Hollywood Studios.

Dates: November 9, 2012 - January 6, 2013.
Price: Included in your Disney's Hollywood Studios park admission ticket.

I have promised not to spoil any surprises about what this event is, because upon first seeing it your breath will truly be taken away. Discover a true Christmas wonder as a fantastic display of lights and decorations dance in front of your very eyes. Initially constructed by Jennings Osborne, an Arkansas businessman, as a gift for his six-year-old daughter, the display has become one of the most popular attractions during Walt Disney World's holiday season. This is one of my favorite events in Orlando, and I don't think any other holiday event, including all halloween and summer events, comes close to this experience.

I promised I wouldn't spoil anything, but here is a little glimpse of what you can expect to see.

The Orlando Vacation Tips Blog tip: Arrive early as there is a special lighting ceremony every night.
