mAAgic Foundation sends 6-year-old boy to Disney World

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A 6-year-old Louisville boy is getting the chance to live out his dream.

Trevor is chronically ill, but has defied the odds since birth.

Thanks to the mAAgic Foundation, he and his family are going on a vacation to Disney World. Trevor and his family got quite the send-off at the Louisville International Airport, complete with the U of L marching band and a pizza party.

It's a change of pace for Trevor, who spends most of his time in and out of the hospital.

"It's a lot of doctors appointments, a lot of hospital in-and-out visits and admissions, but we've managed to make it the last six years," said Christa Conrad, his mother. "He's a fighter."

Trevor was born at just 23 weeks, and is autistic, partially deaf and has severe respiratory problems.

He says the thing he's looking forward to the most is meeting Mickey Mouse.
