Well with the success of the Pirates of the Caribbean franchise, and other movies such as The Haunted Mansion and a planned Jungle Cruise adaption, it was only a matter of time before we heard news about another classic Disney Parks attraction inspiring a movie.

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A 6-year-old Louisville boy is getting the chance to live out his dream.
Trevor is chronically ill, but has defied the odds since birth.
Thanks to the mAAgic Foundation, he and his family are going on a vacation to Disney World. Trevor and his family got quite the send-off at the Louisville International Airport, complete with the U of L marching band and a pizza party.
Walt Disney World holds ‘Frankenweenie Weekend’ at Downtown Disney

On Sept. 20, Walt Disney World Resort announced a “Frankenweenie Weekend” to promote the upcoming stop-motion animated movie. The three-day celebration of Tim Burton’s work with Disney will offer guests several experiences inspired by the new movie, “The Nightmare Before Christmas” and “Alice in Wonderland.”
“Frankenweenie Weekend” will take place Sept. 28 – 30 at Downtown Disney West Side, just as Disney’s Halloween season kicks into high gear.
